Phase 2: Refinement
The refinement phase is all about the details. The concepts are "detailed out" to fit the critical criteria of the project while retaining the original concept's design intent. The concepts are presented in 3D CAD renderings, and often in mockup form as well. We put our full attention on the processes of developing concepts which are optimized for aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability. At the completion of this phase the refined concepts are evaluated with the client, and a final design is selected and additional refinements agreed upon.
