Phase 1: Concept

The concept phase begins the idea generation process. Starting with broad, "blue-sky" thinking, we create dozens of quick thumbnail sketches exploring style, function, and production. Next are mulitple rounds of concept sketches, and internal reviews. We then present about a dozen ideas that represent a wide range of approaches “from mild to wild.” We also use quick ergonomic mockups explore product-user interaction. This phase culminates with a review of 3-5 concepts from which a few are selected for further development.
